Quick links to all everyday features
Softwares can be both very advanced and very difficult to use. Epoc is advanced, but also very easy to handle. To make the “Monday to Friday” operations as available as possible, we have placed all the most essential functions easily available on the first page. From there everything you want to do is done with just a few clicks.

Recipe Groups
Putting together recipes in groups speeds up the recipe handling considerably. Instead of loading one recipe at a time, you can load an entire group of recipes. This enables you to update the complete recipe memory in any oven with just a few clicks.

Move recipes from one bakery to another
Epoc offers the possibility to move recipes from one oven in one bakery to another oven in another bakery. This makes it possible to update all local bakeries with new recipe settings at the same time without moving from the PC, no matter where they are.

Explain the bake result
When the quality of a production differs from the quality standard it is very important to have an efficient tool to help explaining what caused the converging bake result. Epoc is the perfect tool for this. It tells everything that happened in the oven or the prover when the bake was executed. In an easily understandable view you get all the process data presented graphically.

A tool for production planning and energy saving
When collecting process data, Epoc also collects information about the actual capacity use of the ovens in the bakery. The green line in the picture (above) shows when we were baking and when the oven was available for production.

This is also very useful information when it comes to saving energy. This picture (above) shows that we had an oven at 250 C for over two hours without producing anything in it. Either we should have moved the later productions or the should have been turned off to help saving expensive energy.

The example diagram shows the number of ovens used every hour from midnight to noon in a normal bakery with eight ovens. This is enough information for one to tell that two ovens can be turned of at 7AM every day and another two ovens can be turned of at 10 AM every day.
